I am Julián Martínez.

I’m Pelin Pala, a passionate filmmaker and media professional based in London, UK. My journey in filmmaking has taken me through diverse roles, from directing and cinematography to editing and script supervision. I am dedicated to crafting compelling narratives that captivate audiences and push creative boundaries.

Currently pursuing a BA in Media at University College London, I have explored a wide range of film-related subjects. My academic background is complemented by extensive hands-on experience in the industry, having worked on independent short films, professional productions, and live events. My experience includes roles such as: Production Assistant, 1st AD, 2nd AD, 1st AC, Focus Puller, Director, and Editor.

Additionally, I have been an integral part of the UCL Film & TV Society, organizing workshops and cultural events to connect aspiring filmmakers with industry professionals. My work has been recognized internationally, with several of my films becoming finalists in the Lift-Off Global Network Film Festival and the Art for Well-Being Competition for the United Nations.

Beyond filmmaking, I run an Instagram page, @keepupwithollywood, dedicated to film education, analysis, and industry insights. My passion extends to music, photography, and creative writing, all of which influence my artistic vision.
